Fisher fired.....not too surprising considering their current losing streak. But, Phil Jackson nailed it when he said some of it's on the players. It's not always the coach.

To be fair, Sasha Vujacic can be an annoying fuck on defense (was one of my favorite things abiout him when he was a Laker). Guarantee that Mario isn't the first player to want to do that to him.

This. He's a pesky defensive player.

Used to love it when they would put him on Mike Bibby. Every time Sasha entered the game, Bibby would make a face like he just bit into an aspirin.

Nothing like a game against the Kings to set the world straight. Tickets at the Q today I saw listed for 40 dollars---- Wednesday against the Lakers the cheapest I saw after a quick scan that were decent at all were like 150. ESPN game Wednesday!!!

Kyrie with 32 points, 12 assists. He looked really sharp tonight. In fact- since the start of February Kyrie has been freaking brilliant in 5 games going for 26.2 points, 6.6 assists, 2.9 rebounds and shooting 54.2% from the field. I think we can finally say that Kyrie is 100% fully back.

LeBron- nothing special- just at triple double in 31 minutes. I am pretty bummed JR Smith is not in the 3 pt contest. The only guys that have made more 3's with a higher percentage?- Klay Thompson, Steph Curry, JJ Redick. (and holy shit- I did not realize JJ Redick was THAT on fire- 48% on 260 attempts?

Klay is of course at 156 makes on 363 attempts- for 43%-- totally and ocmpletely insane really for that many attempts---- that is until you get to Curry---- who has shot 514 3 pointers- 2nd is James Harden at 419 (3rd is P. George at 368)--- and Curry has made 233 for 45.3%....it is completely bonkers to have shot almost 100 more threes than the next closest guy- have BY FAR the most attempts in the league- and also shoot 45.3%....insane.----anyway i digress--- its kinda bullshit JR isnt there... i mean the dude is 18th in NBA history in 3 pointers made and is shooting 40% while being one of the biggest volume shooters in the league- and thats AFTER he started horrible for the first 2 weeks while dealing with an injury- (but gutted it out because the team was short on guards because of KI and Shump being out at the time).

Hawks are shopping Teague and Horford. I imagine they'll both be gone by the deadline.

Disappointing end of the 1st half for Miami. Clippers and Spurs are obviously better than us but was hoping we can get one of those games.

Hoping they can finish February 4-2 and make their run to the 3rd seed in March as the schedule is favorable.

Hoping for a Clippers, Bulls, and Hornets win tomorrow night. If that happens, Miami will enter the break in sole possession of 4th and would be tied in the L column with 3rd place Boston.

Horford I heard is going to get like 27 million a year....thats a lot of money...most since Jordan...only Durant will get more this offseason.

I think Teague is good- really good at times- but getting a point guard is not too terribly difficult unless they are the best of the best- and while Teague is good- he is certainly not irreplaceable.

When the Cavs beat the Lakers tomorrow they will go into the ASB at 38-14 and probably 2 games up in the conference.

Considering where they started the year- thats not a bad position to be in- but more important than their record is the fact that they are know putting in a system and trying to stick to it- rather than always defaulting to iso ball when the times get tough. Its not a BAD thing to play some iso here and there when you have 2 of the best 7 iso players in the entire NBA, but late in the game when the defense intensifies the ball movement just stops sometimes and thats been when the Cavs have gotten in serious trouble. Lue has made some much needed changes- expanding the rotation to keep guys fresh and keep more guys involved, getting Love more touches were he is most comfortable, and of course- holding LeBron accountable.

We got a first hand look at that the other night when early on LeBron thought he got fouled, didnt hurry back and the Kings got a transition 3- IMMEDIATELY Lue calls a timeout and gets on LeBron about it....that NEVER EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVER would have happened under Blatt - and ITS ABOUT FREAKING TIME....

I didnt hate David Blatt- in fact- there are some things i liked about him and obviously hes had a lot of success- but he was totally overwhelmed coming to the NBA and being tasked with immediately competing for a title. He was in WAY over his head.

I saw the Cavs are inquiring about Korver- not saying thats likely to happen at all...just saying....

they have looked at Tyreke Evans and Ben McLemore too from what I have heard- but arent super motivated to do anyhting as of right now.

I don't understand ATL blowing it up unless they know 100% Horford won't resign. They were great last year and while its fallen off some this year, there's no reason why they can't get back to that level with a tweak or two
