Absolutely. How awesome would it be if they just went to one league dropped about 6 teams and went to a 4 team playoff? Everyone just plays everyone and the 4 best at the end of a 140 game season get to have playoffs...I know none of these will ever happen, but baseball would be better for it.

It's just so ridiculous that the pitcher gets a free fucking out once every time through the order. The fact that your damn pitcher has to hit dictates how long he gets to stay in the game is retarded by definition.
