He really hasn't done anything to prove he should. Would rather have Peguero/Schierholtz as a left handed hitting option.

As well as Martinez has pitched it makes me wonder what would have happened had Darvish stayed healthy. I wonder if Martinez would have done enough to cause them to use Detwiler in the pen? I guess we will never know.

It's great to see young talent step up consistently going back to last season. Rua has only gotten stronger as the season has gone on, and has shown going back to last season that he can hit big league pitching every day. I still would like to see him take a couple walks, but he has flat out won the LF job IMO, and the competition that was designed for these purposes has been a huge success.
