Guys I'd like to see the Flyers get with 48:

Anton Karlsson, Hunter Smith, Nicolas Aube-Kubel, Vaclav Karabacek, Shane Eiserman and Juho Lammikko

Not a fan of the value, but I do like the pick. The d-core of the future we are building is looking nice

Ideally I'd say a forward in the 2nd, goalie in the 3rd, and then swing for the fences with Euros in the later rounds.

I like what you guys did with Morin & Hagg last year . Perhaps more dmen are in order? I think you guys could have a set of stud dmen for the future if you go that route plus they 're easy to package in trades.

If McKeown is available when we pick I'd jump on him. Just totally stuff the defensive prospect cupboard.

By the way I hate that the Penguins drafted Kapanen. Great pick, but it felt bad inside

Interesting, depending on who is available, that might be the right pick - I think later on you go based on need more so than early but if you have a bunch of d-men that turn out to be really good and you end up with a surplus, you can always trade one later on and get an asset at forward or whatever it might be

I would like to see some forwards though because I think at the very least, it could eventually help the AHL team - I think the AHL team will be better next season, Ghost and Robert Hagg will be on that team and I think Anthony Stolarz will get some time too, so they might be a better team

I love those Fin players, they always seem to overachieve

Don't be like the Pens, stocking up talent for the AHL just isn't worth it. Just trust me on this :L

It's different for the Flyers though, the AHL team has flat out sucked since they last won the Calder Cup in 05 - I'd like to see them at least be respectable and make the playoffs again - and if you develop them right they can make it to the NHL

Don't know much about Travis Sanheim but I like the trend of Philly draft picks as of late. What was once the biggest weakness on the team is now becoming a strength.

True they've been bad as of late but I think you guys do a better job of getting your prospects up to the NHL level than we do. We keep our guys on the farm & let them rot.

McKeown would be another solid pickup. Mobile with offense. I could also see us going Glover or Dougherty, but McKeown would be my first choice.

If there is a skilled forward there I really want us to take him. Outside of Barbashev I don't know many names now past the 1st round, but there must be someone waiting to be picked

Fucking love that we took a D-man.

Things are looking bright. SOOOOO happy they told Florida to fuck off when asking about Simmer

I agree, dman was a good move & keeping Simmonds was a better move.

Would not at all be surprised to see Hexy draft a goalie in this draft.

There you go, Cobie! I like it simply because he is a French forward
