Official OL and TE vertical jump numbers still haven't been released yet for some reason. I've entered in every other number from today.

Some very large QB hand measurements this year:

Logan Thomas' 10 7/8 inch hand measurement is the 2nd largest I've ever recorded myself. The only player I have on record who had a larger hand measurement? Jim Druckenmiller - 11 1/4.

Stephen Morris' 10 1/4 inch hand measurement is tied with Drew Brees for the 5th largest I've ever recorded.

Jeff Mathews' 10 1/8 inch hand measurement is tied with Brad Johnson for the 7th largest I've ever recorded.

A.J. McCarron and Keith Wenning also are high up the list with 10 inch even. Donovan McNabb, Patrick Ramsey, and Tyrod Taylor also had a measurement of 10 inches.

-------------------------------

Ugh, this whole Michael Sam story was been a media wet dream. They love to put people under the microscope and prod and turn an issue into something bigger than it actually is.

Media in general has become such a disgusting cesspool but that's for another thread.

how many invitees are there typically? there is a max of 335 max.

how many players drafted each year, 7 x 32 = 224. add say 16 for comp picks, for a total of 240 players drafted.

240/335 = 71.6% roughly

There are 32 comp picks every year, 256 total picks.

Yeah, very bad time. That could hurt his stock a bit but I don't know how much.

That's disgustingly slow. Rich Eisen runs faster.

Anyway, it's only a 40. What matters is his 10 yard split and 20 yard split. Most importantly his shuttle and cone drills.

I wish he killed at the combine so some dumb team would get all hot & bothered over his bench press & 3cone drills & waste a first round pick on his lame ass.

A.C. Leonard - TE - Player

Tennessee State TE A.C. Leonard ran an official 4.50 forty-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine.

He was "unofficially" clocked as fast as 4.43, which would have been the third-fastest time for a tight end in Combine history. A former top high school recruit, Leonard transferred from Florida prior to the 2012 season due to off-field issues. He's on the shorter side at 6'2/252 but flashes the playmaking ability to develop into a "move" tight end. Leonard is a third-day draft prospect.

Xavier Su'a-Filo - G - Player

UCLA OG Xavier Su'a-Filo ran an official forty time of 5.04 at the NFL Scouting Combine.

It's the second fastest forty time among guards, and he led all interior linemen in the 20-yard shuttle. Su'a-Filo has quality arm length for a guard (33 3/8"). He managed just 25 bench press reps, but is considered an effective pass blocker. He projects as a fringe first-round pick. Su'a-Filo is pushing Stanford's David Yankey to be the first guard selected in May.

Khalil Mack - LB - Player

Buffalo LB Khalil Mack measured 6-foot-2 1/2 and 251 pounds at the NFL Scouting Combine weigh-in.

Mack was listed at 6-foot-3 and 248 pounds at Buffalo. A prototype 3-4 outside linebacker, Mack also has the size and versatility to play defensive end in a 4-3 scheme. He projects as a top-10 pick. NFL Network's Mike Mayock considers Mack the top prospect in the 2014 draft class.

Greg Robinson - T - Player

Auburn OT Greg Robinson ran an official forty time of 4.92 at the NFL Scouting Combine.

He was hand-timed as fast as 4.84. These are truly insane times for a 6-foot-5, 332-pound human being. Heads spun when Dontari Poe ran 4.89 at 346 pounds during the 2012 Combine, and Robinson's feat is similar. Robinson also bench pressed 225 pounds 32 times, a remarkable number for a guy with 35-inch arms. The 21-year-old is going to be a top-six draft pick, and could go as early as No. 2 overall to St. Louis. Robinson is a game-changing run blocker on tape.

Jace Amaro - TE - Red Raiders

Texas Tech TE Jace Amaro officially ran a 4.74-second 40-yard dash on Saturday.

Amaro's unofficial times were a bit better at 4.66 and 4.62. But it wasn't his speed that had scouts talking. Instead, the former Red Raiders standout put up 28 repetitions on the bench, shocking evaluators who had slapped the "finesse" label on a tight end who predominately lined up outside. The number is especially impressive because Amaro's arm length is 34 inches, making lifting more difficult than it would be for a short-armed prospect. For sake of comparison, UNC's Eric Ebron had 24 reps and Washington's Seferian-Jenkins had 20. Both have shorted arms than Amaro. Amaro (6-foot-5 3/8 and 265 pounds) snagged 106 receptions and set an NCAA record for a TE with 1,352 receiving yards.

There goes our center:

Xavier Su'a-Filo - G - Bruins

UCLA OG Xavier Su'a-Filo ran the second fastest 40-yard dash time (5.04 seconds) amongst OGs at the NFL combine.

He wasn't done there. Su'a-Filo led all OG prospects in the 20-yard shuttle, perhaps the drill most indicative of on-field OL explosiveness. The former Bruins' stalwart's impressive day had evaluators salivating. "This kid Su'a-Filo is an impressive specimen. He could go in the first round. He won't get out of the second round," said NFL Network's Mike Mayock. SI.com's Doug Farrar tweeted that he now prefers Su'a-Filo to David Yankey and compared the UCLA product to Josh Sitton.
