Here's the Heisman Watch List on ESPN website right now.
1. Todd Gurley (Georgia) RB
2. Marcus Mariota (Oregon) QB
3. Jameis Winston (Florida State) QB
4. Kenny Hill (Texas A&M) QB
5. Everett Golston (Notre Dame) QB
6. Ameer Abdullah (Nebraska) RB
7. Amari Cooper (Alabama) WR
8. Taysom Hill (BYU) QB
I think the top 3 have proven to be there from past performance. Gurley will need very impressive stats to stay up because the Heisman has become "what crazy things can QBs do."
Kenny Hill is very talented, but will he be consistent enough during the season. Right now, he deserves to be on the list.
I never thought about Everett Golston, but if he is consistently good, I would have a hard time not including him. He has a monster schedule.
Abdullah is my favorite RB this year. He was consistent last year. But like I said about Gurley, if Abdullah wants to win, he has to be super impressive.
Why include a WR? Cooper could be the best college football WR of all time and still not win.
Taysom Hill is good, but the SOS will hurt him when compared to the others.
