Amari Cooper in beast mode again today .... 185 and 2 TD's with 3 minutes still left in the 1st quarter.

Liked Cooper more than Watkins last year even though he was lackluser and banged up. Has shown out this year, probably ends up top 3 in the draft.

It doesn't look like a great safety draft, other than the Alabama kid, but we will need to upgrade that position this offseason. It's a glaring weakness.

The way I feel today, is to trade for the 2 players on the Bucs that can solve the problems. The safety -
I forget his name; and Jackson, who would be a great pairing with Maclin. Plus, Maclin is going to be hard to re-sign after the season, and we'd have Jackson for at least 2 years. Nate Allen has to be replaced, and Wolff is not the answer ( another bust). It's old news, but Reid set this franchise back 10 years when he didn't draft Thomas. Howie/Chip blew the chance to draft Bucannon, when they drafted Marcus Smith. hope Smith develops into a decent player, but not holding out much hope right now.

Matt Jones really showed it today against Georgia....Love the way that kid runs between the tackles and strong.

I was disappointed with Boykin, but really so with Kevin white (WVA). He didn't look like one of the top WRs in the draft. If he couldn't get open against the other Kevin white (TCU), then how can he aginst NFL DBs? Also, the LB for TCU (Paul Dawson) made a phenomenal play. Keep an eye on him.

With Foles out, and Sanchez being a backup, who besides Mariota (out of the question) is worth trading up to draft next year, without giving up too much? This is a priority now, and that means that other positions have to be filled in free agency, the way I see it.

Name names!

It's not a good QB draft outside of Chip's boy. Guys like Brett Hundley and Bryce Petty that were once thought of as high picks have had some struggles. The "good news" there, if there is any, is that maybe one of those guys drops to us in the second round now.

I like The Cooks kid at Michigan St...But I have a feeling Dirty Sanchez resurrects his career here with the Chipster.

If we draft a QB he has to be mobile ... in Chip's system Foles left yards on the field a few times a game because he's a statue. Passing ability is #1 ... that has to be there first and foremost, but in this system it's a sin to not have a QB who can get some yards with his legs a few times a game. I've been a fan of Dak Prescott who projects to go middle to late Rd 1.

Mariota really would be a dream. In some draft mocks he is falling to #3 or #4, and if that happens I would love to see a trade up.

I'm intrigued with Cook from MSU.. My Buckeyes play them Saturday night and I'm really interested how he does against our DLine ( Bosa and Washington in particular)? He can run and has a pretty good arm.

Really?
Would you give up 3 #1s to move up to get one player? How'd that work out for the Skins, who did that for RG3?

We're not the Skins and Chip knows this kid.
