Unlikely the 49ers get their RB of the future (and a focal point) that I think is so crucial THIS year but I really don't want to see him in a Rams jersey after I was heartbroken about Pead last year and of course Steven Jackson back in the day.

I dont like the trade because its Arguable but I like Swearinger a bit better than Reid and to me Cyprien and Reid are tied for second best safety in draft. And yes I have a man Crush on Swearinger cause he can cover a little but he hits like , Lott, Lynch and Attwater.

The league is moving away from big hitting safeties. I don't know much about Reid but hope he is good at reading plays and run support before I'd worry about hard hits

Agreed. My biggest complaint of Baalke is that he doesn't do a great job of sitting tight and taking what comes to him. Hard to complain too much with the results to date, AJ Jenkins aside, but I just don't love the move up for that position. A high third isn't all that much relatively speaking, but it's still a guy who should be a starter.

I think this is a result of having a lot of picks and most of the rosters spots filled up. The biggest hole was at S and since Reid can be SS or FS, he has versatility if Whitner leaves next year.
