Yeah that is funny.......I heard on the radio this morning that Target field has the 4th most expensive beer of any
stadium in the league at $7.50.

They're more at Tropicana Field and Marlins Stadium. I think they were $8.00 last year and sumthin' like $9.00 for the great big 12 ozers (just jokin, they're bigger than that!) I haven't been to either joint yet this year due to scheduling conflicts with my beautiful bride, Lena, but we're trying to get to both asap. No kidding....she really likes to go to the games. Did I get lucky or what?!

The Mets been rough but then again so have the Twins. I am still hoping for a good series.

I did a little history on the Twins and found that shortly after the Dome opened the Twins went into the tank for 5-6 years then they shocked Baseball with the winning of 1987 World Series. Maybe!

Maybe tonite will be the nite that the bats explode for the Twins! I'm not sold on the starters but I keep thinking that the hitters aren't as bad as they look right now. It's still early enough to become an offensive threat each game. I can live with that for a year or two if I'm convinced that Ownership is trying to develop pitching in the meantime.

I agree with ya buck. We have some good bats but starters seem to be the perpetual issue. At least the back end of the bullpen is pretty good now. If they can just get through seven innings with a lead maybe they can get some wins.

Not sure how the Angels rotation is but I'm pretty sure it's seen better days as well. But, Like the Twins the Angels have some bats to back em up. This series could be one big offensive display with lots of runs being scored if everyone gets going.
