Only 7 games in but averaging 2.42 runs per game is not going to get it done. Lowest season total in last 5 years was 5.43 runs per game in 2011.

Also averaging less than 10 total bases per game so far through 7 games.

Yeah, today's game is cancelled due to cold and the weekend games were moved to 1:05 and 12:05. The joys of being a northern school playing warm weather sport.

They are 0-7. What are we supposed to talk about?

First win of the season was their 35th straight home opening win. Yeah those are usually against teams that aren't great but conferring what Nebraska was previous to about 15 years ago, that is pretty good.

Nebraska takes a 3-0 lead into the top of the 7th.

3-0 victory for the big red. DeLeon was great today. 8 innings, 0 runs, 7 hits, 5 Ks, only had 1 runner reach 3rd.

Baseball is one of those weird sports where a team can suddenly do a 180 and just start going the other way.

I'll wait to see before I flip out too much. There is no other sport out there where the thing can completely change just by a couple guys suddenly getting a different mentality.......get a couple bats going and it gets contagious
