yup. baseball teams are streaky. It's the nature of the game tho, confidence levels build/fall, bringing or losing momentum.. it's the only sport that's almost 100% more about yer head than yer body

I figure the Huskers to finish no higher than 5th in the B1G this season.

@HuskerExtraSip: #Huskers baseball 6-13 after rugged pre-Big Ten schedule. Darin Erstad says schedule was right thing to do with veteran team. Story coming.

Been awhile since I've been on here and posted. But I consider myself a pretty decent Husker basketball and baseball fan. Been to several baseball games already this year (in the cold) and plan on going this weekend. What are some realistic expectations with this team? I know the non-conference schedule sucked but my feeling is that realisticaly they should still be able to compete for the conference title. However making it to a regional and even winning a regional is not realistic at all. Thoughts? Would you be satisfied with a 1st or 2nd finish in the conference at that it?
