Reggie Bush off the board

Just signs a 4 yr deal with Detroit. I know it was against the odds but I would have liked to see him playing for the Bengals.

You know we have a free agency thread for this so we don't have all these threads junking up the board.

Ryan Fitzpatrick - QB - Free Agent

Bengals.com says to not be "surprised" if the team checks out free agent Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Coach Marvin Lewis is familiar with Fitzpatrick, as he spent two seasons in Cincinnati before landing in Buffalo in 2009. Fitzpatrick started 12 games for the Bengals in 2008, completing 59.4 percent of his passes for 1,905 yards, eight touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Cincinnati is in the market for a backup after losing Bruce Gradkowski to the Steelers.

John Elway:

Agreed to terms on a 2-yr deal with Wes Welker. Excited to have Wes join the Broncos. His production & toughness will be a great asset!

I'd love to bring Ryan Fitzpatrick back. However, with the putrid QB market...he might still be in play to start somewhere.

I think he's going to be a high end backup.. make 3-3.5 million a yr as an insurance policy for a playoff-type team in case their QB misses has to miss a couple game..

Like Kyle Orton last yr.

That's a fair comparison for me, but I've been wrong before

Would have really loved to seen him in a Bengals uniform. I'm still picking him in FF. He's putting up huge numbers in that offense

If they weren't in a brutal division I'd give them a legit chance at going undefeated.

Super talented young QB who'll only get better in his 2nd yr. best defense in the NFL. great RB, great WR coprs.. a Home Field Advantage of 2 or 3 tds... meaning if they get HFA in the post-season they're practically in the SB...

break this team up...

they had Atlanta severly outclassed in the 2nd half of that playoff loss. it was West Coast Team playing an early game vs an East Coast team who was coming off a bye week... they were the best team in the NFC last yr...and they just got much better

Amendola to the Pats..

they just got a younger, better version of Welker for the same price per yr..

Another team who's playing chess while everyone else plays checkers

If Amendola can stay healthy. That will be the big question. If he can, I don't see the Pats losing much with the Welker signing. Amendola will catch 100 balls this year.

He was on pace for 100 catches last yr in Stl if he didnt miss time with injury. he's going to be awesome in NE

Jaguars cut Laurent Robinson

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars continue to part ways with players signed under the former regime.

The Jaguars released receiver Laurent Robinson on Wednesday, the latest high-priced player let go as part of the team's rebuilding project.

Robinson signed a five-year, $32.5 million free-agent contract last season before missing considerable time with concussions. The team also cut cornerback Aaron Ross and safety Dawan Landry last week and told veteran cornerback Rashean Mathis he would not be re-signed.
