It's more than that. It's one thing to be tired and still play hard, but it's another thing to be tired and not try and give it 100%. the Flyers just flat out gave up. Sloppy passing, falling down, lazy penalties, I could go on and on. The worst part is that the schedule isn't going to get easier. We don't have the luxury to have lengthy practices to fix our ST. This is the part that is crippling our team. ST will determine our fate this season. I guarantee it!

couldn't agree more. easiest way to score when you're tired (which everyone in the league will be) is on the PP. that will be critical for every team.

Goats

3. Leighton for being himself(not covering the bottom of the net, not cutting down angles, not controling rebounds)
2 Lavy- for playing Leighton.
1. Homer- for re-signing Leighton. I mean come on that fucker cost a cup with his weak ass play and he was rewarded with a new contract? Fucking bullshit.

I hope Bryz plays the rest pf the games all season or the send Leighton down and bring Boosh up, at least Boosh makes the saves he should and can control/semi-control rebounds.

Foster could possibly be the worst defenseman weve ever had.

Braydon Schenn needs to start scoring and play like a young star that he was supposed to be.

The huge problem with that is WTF is he doing on our PP

the answer to the question is in the prompt to the question.. he's the only one on the team that boasts a shot as his best attribute

Is it me and everyone is talking about this guys shot and i look at the stats and he has 3 shots on goal. I wish there was a stat for how many times a forward skated right by him it would be like 50 but i do like the fact that one shift somebody was messing grossman and he was ready to jump in and fight.

las i am not saying that hes good at it. hes just the only dman we have that is actually willing to shoot and has a decent enough one from the point. as a player i think he sucks.

We need to play better as a team not just him I do think Gervais may be a better option for the PP.

Lol I bet the Rags will beat that next game.

No way they arent the same team as the last few years their 1-0 days are over with this team they have 1.5 good scoring lines and zero depth. Only a couple of guys still block shots like callahan gerardi and staal certainly lundquist isnt blocking many shots these days hahahahahah

Just my opinion here, but I think the Nash deal helped us. It was Dubinsky and those guys traded were the real Flyer killers imo.

Awaz your post is dead on every team is showing flaws but bad st will kill you and that's where Phillys at right now. They can obviously score more goals but when you break down even strength they're not that bad. Tue huge game!

Leighton looked slow last night. I don't mean he wasn't getting across in time or covering the angles, but he absolutely cannot be trusted to even REACT on anything east-west nor to do the job when he DOES react. The Tampa goal where St. Louis acted as the relay man, Leighton didn't even start moving till the puck was by him, and on the blast that Lecavilier (I think, not sure it was him) had from the goal line, while it was an AMAZING shot, Leighton would have made it over in time but he wasn't willing to ram into the post to stop the shot - you can see on the replay he gets over but is slow to cover the post.

As for Foster, I'd like his shot more if it would stop ending up in our zone. High and hard along the boards is what you do for dump ins, not slap shots. He cleared the puck a few times for them.

I like Gervais and Luke Schenn. The top guys are either not giving it their all or taking bad penalties or both.

And why is Knuble on the PK?
