Best part of last night was Kimmo's stretch pass which resulted in a goal. I was surprised to learn that as of last night Kimmo was tied for second in the league for scoring for dmen.

Bryz also got an assist on that goal which make 3 for the year maybe we give him Briere's spot.

They will suspend Schenn just because of the jersey he wears if they suspend simmonds they have to take a look at every hit near the boards and start suspending everyone on every team that hit happens every game.

i did find it comical that sabres fans thought the flyers were getting preferential treatment.. someone on the main board said 'if that was kaleta it woulda been 5 and a suspension' after the simmonds hit.. as if the flyers aren't targetted by the league's discipline system? come on now, lets be real here.

lol just read it.. did he really compare kaleta's hit on richards to the hits on the midgets? ennis turned mid hit to put him face first in to the boards, and gerbe was at least close to the boards.. kaleta put richards in to the boards so the top of richards' head was the first thing to hit the wall.. that was probably the nastiest hit of the year by one of the nastiest players in the league, of course he got a big suspension for it

Did anyone notice that on the first couple of PP's that Lavy replaced Simmonds with Cooter? It didn't last very long but I thought that was really weird. I don't know what Lavy is doing anymore.

Most Sabres fans I know say this exact same thing. Lol. Not all but most! Keep in mind this fanbase is still to this very day are still dwelling on the '99 Cup Finals of Brett Hall GWG or they seemto think " No Goal."

but to suggest the flyers of all teams get preferential treatment? come on. they're still labeled the broad st bullies 40 years after the fact.. and last year's team was soft as baby goo

Ahhhh...ok, now that makes sense. I'm sure that's all it was then. Whew! I'm relieved because I thought Lavy was losing it.

I have not seen much of Laughton playing. Nothing on Cousins? They play with a nasty streak, eh? I wish Dave Brown had a son playing that had his toughness. My favorite Flyer tough guy besides Berube.

from most reports, cousins will have to overcome a reputation similar to rinaldo's if/when he makes the NHL.. except he's more known for just being dirty then for hitting hard like rinaldo.. someone got to him last summer though and said he needed to focus on playing hockey instead of trying to hurt people.. the results: 3rd in the OHL in points w/ 4 less games played

edit: doesn't take in to account schieffle though, who would be pissing on everyone if he didn't spend half the season playing for canada or winipeg.. dude's got 77 points in 43 games.. in the OHL, thats disgusting.

Lol@ winning a shootout. Ver rare and especially against the Devils. Btw I fucking hate Briere again. Bryzy was a stud!

Db didn't do much and Harts is struggling. Why not flip Harts and Simmonds may get all those guys going again. After all he's played well with Db in the past. I like the other lines although couturiers back in a 4th line role maybe he needed tp get out of that sophmore slump.

Winning that shootout is a miracle especially with elias missing the net. Its a sign I tell you Philly will make the playoffs!

I thought the Flyers outplayed Tampa tonight but still found a way to loose. Talbot was a monster tonight, and at least Lavy saw that and moved him up to the 3rd line and moved Cooter down. Flyers hit 3 post and just cant get it done on the road. 0-11 now when trailing after 1 period, and 4-12 on the road, trends that continue. Game winning goal because the Flyers forward collapse too low and leave the points wide open, when is this gonna change?

They have to win like 80% of there remaining games to get just 8th, there done. Tank for fuck sakes, and they are only gonna drop considering they don't play until sunday now.

When Talbot is your best player by far and away it's time to make some changes. We looked really bad last night and i'm tired of a good team playing like that.
