You want to know what happened here? Our boys never left New Jersey. This team is way, way better than they played in Montreal, they were just still butthurt from that fiasco in Jersey and never got over it.

That was one of the sorriest performances that I've ever witnessed out of our team and it's all because they were still pouting over the game the night before that they had in the bag and then let slip away against a huge rival.

I remember Danny Briere being interviewed during one of the intermissions and the first thing he did was cry about the heartbreaking loss to the NJD. WTF are you talking about Danny!?! This is a NEW game and there is ANOTHER team taking it to you!! Get OVER the night before and fucking get to work!!!

These players need to have a talk with any goalie and learn to have very short memories.

This is a start, but the last time we scored seven, the next three games were a mess. We need to string together a few wins in a row or we're never going to get ourselves into playoff contention.

Technically we're only two points and two teams back of 8th, but everyone around us has played fewer games. Regardless of what happens against Pitt tomorrow, once we get back to Philly for that five game home stand, we have to at least win four of them to get back in the hunt. All of those games are against mediocre to bad teams. I expect to win them, especially with G and Briere on the move.

The team we saw against the Isles is the best of our boys and the one at Montreal was the worst of them. Those games could've and probably should've been 10-0 and 0-8. That gives you an idea what passion and effort means to the game.

I was kidding. I was curious why McGinn was a healthy scratch and I think it was JJ who brought up he may be part of a possible trade. I just took it from there jokingly saying Yandle is on his way here.
