That's what I was seeing too.

You watched more of the LSU game than I did. How did Anthony Johnson play in the 2nd half? Did he look like the best DL on the field like people were predicting?

Anthony Johnson is one of the guys I'd like to see in a 49ers' uniform next season because Justin Smith isn't exactly young (although it's usually a bad idea to draft players with the initials A.J.)

Johnson looks decent but really Ferg is stealing the show... He is just pushing the Oline back like they were all pop warner kids.

But Johnson is getting penetration and was getting some pressure, Boykin has frozen him some and caught him hesitating on some read option plays that went for big gains.

As I say that Johnson makes a nice stop on a running play fighting off a double team then runs down Boykin from behind after initially getting beat so he has some quickness,

Northwestern has been a solid, underrated team the last few years. You don't see many of their players make it to the NFL, but their recruiting has been picking up.

By the new NCAA rules, the penalty was correct. However, you are right, the ejection is ridiculous, and I'm not saying this because I'm a Cal guy.

Cal obviously didn't win the game, but I like the direction they're heading towards. Their offense has some serious ingenuity behind and they have the right cogs making the system work. I'm really looking forward to Goff, Bigelow, and especially Bryce Treggs making plays for Cal this year.
