I think the stamps players didnt notice about the whole Black betty song thing because they were all too busy gushing over how good the Lions new jerseys looked ... wake up lil snoozies

The debut of the B.C. Lions futuristic black uniforms on the weekend had the desired effect on two fronts.

One was in the marketing department of the CFL team, which sold everything available on the weekend and was into back orders online at its website. The club hasn’t decided whether to wear them again this season but is considering the idea, which was not the plan before they were unveiled to an enthusiastic response.

“I was trading emails (with the supplier) at halftime Saturday to see if we could get more in quicker. It seems as if we’ve hit a home run,” said marketing director Stefan Kalenchuk.

But the futuristic black-on-black design was also making it difficult in another sense, at least according to a posting on the Twitter account of former Lions slotback Arland Bruce, who was trying to watch film on the next opponent for the Montreal Alouettes Thursday without much success.

“The B.C. Lions should be fined the maximum amount due to whole staff violating uniform policies. We as a Team (Als) can’t watch film properly,” Bruce wrote.

So I guess the injury isn't as bad as first feared? After all the work he's put in to resume his career, I hope that is the case.

it's just been a goofy fucking game.
the play they were probablt talking about was: 2 point conversion - fumbled and booted downfield with a whole bunch of fat guys chasing it
there has also been a 123 yard TD, and another one of 80+ yards.
the MTL QB is tearing it up in his debut.
lots of offense, not much defense, lots of special teams.

McCallum saves a TD return with a hipcheck... err trip
