Phils pulled Lee back....(off waivers). Last I heard anyways.
Also, mike Sciosia is the whiniest bitch in baseball. Currently playing the game under protest.
Sox just walked it off. He's bitching about Konerko being outside the base path on a play that pulled pujols off the bag.

does anyone think that we make any moves prior 1 September. i think we need to add a LH reliever and a LH bat off the bench
Think the bench is pretty well set, don't see any moves that can be made unless the LH bat can play SS, unlikely
LH reliever, maybe
can't find the article but i thought it said that they were looking to strengthen their middle infield backup and at the same time add another left-hand bat, gonzalez & young are not the answer for that

there is a news flash.
Gonzalez has been less visible than Blanco was in past seasons but he is there for his ability to field the middle and 3b.
Scutaro is out of the picture with his move to SFG ... so a move TEX might make to switch up UIF might be internally Luis Hernandez (.263/.317/.385/.635) has had 92 starts @ SS and 12 @ 2b for RR and would give TEX a hotter bat to sit on the bench.
Hernandez has no time @3b but with Olt on the roster Gonzalez is not needed to be a backup 3b ... so switching out to another veteran Hernandez would give TEX a switch hitting UIF who is better this year from the left side than the right.

forgot we had him. makes sense to me. he provides more than we are getting from Gonzalez and it keeps Young off the field
