you're right. in 2006 Canada beat the US 3-2 with an empty net goal, because the US needed to win in regulation to advance. So the 3rd goal (Chipchura) was an empty netter. that's the one that Johnson bitched out on.

- I miss Luc Bourdon. In this game anyways, he was significantly better than Letang. Oh, what might have been. Though to be honest, I was quite disappointed that we didn't take Kopitar with that #10 pick.

- amazing save by Frazee (Little on the powerplay in the 2nd). I always thought Frazee would make an impact in the NHL. he was soo very good in the World Jrs (and U18 for that matter)

- wow. that 4 on 3 PK in overtime. Ryan Parent's finest moment (played all 2 minutes).

- Toews > Kane by so much, in every aspect of the game.

- Peter Mueller should be a better NHL player. Elite talent.
