I have a strong feeling he will show us when he comes up to stay. Of course that will require some patience at first. He has had stretches in the minors just as bad as ones he has had up there, but he kept playing anyway and got better.

Not anymore. Was unable to connect for about 6 hours yesterday though.

Like I said. I wasn't worried about the results. I was worried about the quality of the at bats.

I'm gonna start calling Lucroy "Johnny Baseball", because he is the absolute doppelganger of that shithead from A&M.

I don't think that can be determined at this point for him or for other guys. I am sure a lot depends on how consistently he plays and for how long at a time. It has taken Joey more time that a lot of guys to adjust to new levels, but he eventually does. Profar had 300 AB coming into this season and a lot of folks pegged him as a failure even before his injury based on the results and now some see him as almost untradable. Chris Davis had a lot more AB than Profar had and he was pegged as a failure.

Joey was bad in his last 68 AB last year after hitting pretty well before that. Now he added 15 more this year where he looked bad. After those 83 AB a lot of folks are ready to say that he is not going to live up to expectations and we should trade him while we can. To me it is way early to think things like that.

His confidence was shaken IMO after coming up last year tearing it up for a week or two and then the MLB pitchers adjusted. He came up from AA Frisco straight to the bigs. Then sent down confidence shaken to RR. So JD needs to do him a solid and keep him in AAA until the call ups IMO.
