Great coach but he didnt have any of these players for those titles LOL. A lot of first year players on the Spurs. The Spurs did end the regular season playing pretty well but still the Nugs are better than this.

SPurs have 4 brand new starters. Spurs have the most roster turnover of any team in the league for 2018-19.
Two of their top 4 bench players were not on the team last year as well.

Denver has essentially the same 5 starters for 3 years including the guys who won 46 games last year.

That is a fake narrative that lazy media generate about the most ignored team in the league.
This Spurs team is not even remotely experienced playing together.

The starting Spurs backcourt of D-league guys White/Forbes have 1 playoff win in their careers.
It is a credit to the Spurs system they are contributing as starters in their very first playoff action.

Spurs have homecourt advantage going forward, are excellent at home, and they stole one on the road. Yeah I'm bummed they blew it tonight but I like their chances to end this in 6. Denver currently has a 13-game losing streak in San Antonio. It may not last and this could go back to Denver tied 2-2...but I like the Spurs' chances to go to Denver up 3-1.

You can have the greatest coach in the world, and the Spurs probably have that, doesn't change the fact you have basically a whole new team. This isn't the Spurs team that had 3 to 4 HOFr.
No Duncan.
No Manu.
No Parker.
No Kawhi.
No Green.

They lost the entire core to most of those championships. The players ultimately have to follow through with the gameplan and make the right plays. This is a good Spurs team and they will work harder than any team bc of that great coach but they aren't more talented than this Denver team.

Denver won 54 games for a reason and there is no excuse bc they were amazing at home. The best in the NBA.

Sounds like you are ready for excuses if they do lose, they possibly could now bc they weren't a good road team. They needed both of those at home vs a TERRIBLE road team. Terrible. 16-25.
