My thoughts on the Backstrom cross check to Peverly. I think the suspension to Barckstrom was unwarranted, I truely think the only reason he got a game is because of all the other nastiness going on around the league. I think the league is trying to get this first round under control and the suspensions are up because of it.
With that I have Capital fans saying the only reason he hit the visor is because Peverly's stick was up and Brackstrom's stick rode along Peverly's. This is looking through your red white and blue glasses, and yes I admit I see a lot through black and gold glasses. Backstrom's stick hit the underside of Peverly's, physics would indicate that Brackstrom's stick would be pushed lower by this. Are you trying to convince me Brackstom was trying to push his stick over Peverly's head? Backstrom hit exactly what Backstrom wanted to hit.

There is no reasoning with these turds. This is the playoffs, it's always the other team gets all the calls, and the other team is dirty.

That video posted earlier with all the "dirty Bruin" highlights was amusing. I'd love to see one of all the Caps' shenanigans.

I, too, didn't truly give a shit if Backstrom was suspended... Honestly do I think his hit was worthy? No. Am I happy, yes, this will set OV back quite a bit.

(46n2, non hockey statement to follow)

FreedomWorks, and Ron Paul are a ponzi scheme that are so out of touch with the practicality of the American government, it is laughable. They used to represent something...until they found out how rich they could become acting like some sort of grass-roots effort and decided to go all lone wolf and bat shit crazy. What they say is simple and seems logical....until you try and understand the practicality of it, and the insanely horrific impact it would have on the American economy. I don't expect Tim Thomas to understand these things and he probably caught up in the hype, but....whatever.....

Support of Ron Paul in 2008 was pretty valid. Support of THIS Ron Paul means you got punked.....

Why should he have to? Do you have to answer to reporters when you exit your church?

If I was a pro athlete and did a photo-op and shook hands while I was there, I probably would expect to.

He doesn't want to answer questions, because like most of the freedomworks wannabes, he doesn't even understand what he is supporting.

I agree. But thats his choice. No one is going to tell me what I can and can't do in my free time.

Do I agree with what he is doing? Yes. My beliefs are very similar to his minus the religious BS. However I would agree this is horrible timing, and attention whoring maybe to a degree, but again, its his life and his spare time. No one should have to not do something they want to do.

I am going to vote for the same guy as Thomas, which is funny, but I really wish that the right wing of this country would be a little better at self-evaluation and understanding. The right would dominate if we took a look in the mirror, once in a while.

(end of 46 rant)

Bruins suck balls, go Caps!
