Buckle up!!
As the decade closes let's vote in our all NHL teams. Let's not go full Flyers/Senators and start from the net out building our team.
Now....
Gosh. Hard choices. I'm not a huge MAF fan but you can't disagree with what he has done over the past 10 years. Quick is a hard second.
Hank was consistently good, took some pretty average teams deep into the playoffs on multiple occasions, is handsome. Easy win and likely deserved more than one Vezina.
People taking MAF gonna have to explain to me why him over Rask. Rask had the best sv% of anyone starting 450 or more games since 2009-10 & made 2 Final runs to MAF's 1.25.
Likewise. Had Rask won one of those finals series I'd hand it to him.I was on the fence between Rask and King Henrik.
Went with Henrik for durability and lack of support.
I stated hard to pick against him but honestly I didn't pick him.Hank was consistently good, took some pretty average teams deep into the playoffs on multiple occasions, is handsome. Easy win and likely deserved more than one Vezina.

Went with Price and it was between him and Lundqvist and Price won the coin toss.
The Habs have been god-awful all decade and Price is literally the only reason they've ever made the playoffs in that span. Pull him from the equation and they're literally the pre-Matthews Leafs. He deserves a shit ton of credit.Rask, Hank and Price are the clear top to me, and I went with Price for one reason.
He is now the franchise wins leader in a franchise that has had Roy, Dryden, and Plante. That is one hell of an accomplishment.
It was the 7 games with St. Louis that put him over the top for you wasn’t it?Broduer better in half a decade than the others in a full one.
!!!

The beachball series alone put him over the top as the clear cut best.People are voting for MAF? LMAFO! Cam Talbot and Devan Dubnyk have better save percentages this decade while playing for far worse teams during that time. MAF is one of the worst puck handlers of all time.
Fleury got on the right teams at the right time and he's certainly a competent goaltender, but best of the decade? C'mon, man...
This guy?
This guy?!?
THIS fucking guy?!?!?!?
