KD? They don’t need a star. The Sixers need a 3 and D wing and they need a complimentary roster that can rebound, defend, and do the little things.

Yes there are. There are tons of 3rd options around the league.
If they get KD they still won't rebound and there's gonna be nothing left to work with. They have developed no one into a role player of any kind.

Who?

I think it’s paramount they resign Melton.

-You don’t have a trade for Embiid
- You don’t have the name of a GM
- You have no clue that Josh Harris is trying to get a stadium built and isn’t going to send away Embiid because the attendance would disappear.

You’re just talking out your ass.
He really is.

So Colangelo schemed up how to give the Celtic's extra resources and ruin the Sixers war chest that Hinkie had built. Just like he was supposed to.

That is ridiculous.

He was incompetent. No doubt about that.

Even thinking that it was a league conspiracy to intentionally screw up the 6ers is just crazy. No legit reason to believe the league wouldn’t want Philly to be good.

Installing Colangelo was actually the exact opposite intent.

But they derailed a competent build plan and forced an incompetent GM on a team headed in the right direction, just not as quickly as the league wanted.

The league didn't want the Sixers to be good because of how well Hinkie articulated the failures of the league to build an equal playing field for its teams to improve their rosters.

Hinkie explained it well and the fans of the Sixers were on board. Some national people were assholes about it. But that was just the beginning of the league derailing it.

You can't even get to the brian colangelo part of the story without talking about blowhard toolbag jerry colangelo first. And you skipped right over because you are ignorant on the subject. It shouldn't happen and you are at least right about that.

You can do what the sixers did

But don’t talk about it publicly, and don’t make a mockery of it

They failed those and the nba dropped the hammer

lol

That's not why the Sixers got slapped. They got slapped because they and their fans were not only dumb enough to "say the quiet part out loud"...they gave it a cute little name and bragged about it.

As much as they want to, there is really very little that the league can do to stop tanking.

So, if a team is dumb enough to handle it like the Sixers did...they're gonna get slapped.

Tldr: keep your fucking mouths shut next time.
