Like I said here, I think the reality is that they’ll play out the string on Embiid and just collect the jersey and box office revenues of a bankable superstar until he inevitably breaks down physically, which could literally he anytime with Embiid.

It’s not what I would do though. I’d trade him. And I’m saying this now so it’s funny to hear people claim it’s hindsight or whatever. They actually should have done it a year ago after he wore down NBA voters with his shameless stat padding to the point that they made him MVP.
