It's weird. 1 and 2 from that draft are uber-athletic guys that play a gruesome style of basketball, not good for a long career but one of them can't even play one half of a season. Ja is getting by bc he doesn't weight 300 like Zion. Both really fun guys to watch when healthy.

having a long term career......based on health and temperament.....might not surprise me if Garland ends up being the best player in that draft class- having the best overall career as an NBA player.

I hate the off ball guy coming in late. I would put it in the hands of the officials and Secaucus on video review if they deem the late undercut that becomes a block because he’s late can be upgraded to both levels of flagrant. I think that would have the desired result in having the players themselves take it out of their game. You can still do your flopping off ball bull shit but if you’re late, it’s two shots and the ball back for the offense.

Seems like a lot of people feel bad for Ja.

How quick they forget a few news cycles ago when speculation was that he would get a Gilbert Arenas type suspension.

He has been involved in real unsavory stuff over the last year.

While I always want to see the best players out there, I am okay with Ja being on the sideline right now.

1-2 but played well

Had a 7 point lead going to the 4th in G4 and only down 1 heading into the 4th in G6.

No real dropoff

Its the playoffs, you need your top guys.. Missing 3 key players is too much to overcome. As Memphis is showing now blowing a big lead with their role player squad they got out there. LA is in trouble in Round 2 though. The opponent won't be decimated by injuries like this Grizz team
