Not downplaying the bombing but if it was just 1 crazy guy and his younger brother, how is it different than the murders that happen in every city, every day by gangs, domestic violence, drinking and driving etc?

Only reason they made this a huge story is because the media originally thought this was done by some right-wing tea partier on tax day. Had they known from the starts that it was radical islam, it would've gotten as much coverage as when 3 people get murdered nightly in your average Chicago neighborhood

holy shit! EXACTLY what I debated with my friends... that and the media had a hard on, praying for a high body count.

I told them that the only thing that could make it worse for MSNBC, Wolf and Maher would be if a private citizen with a CCW/CHL ended up shooting the guys alleged bombers with a legally obtained gun with a 15 round magazine.
