Can easily see them going 6-3 at the worst...

Taking over DET will be tough. I think overtaking NYY will be easier with the slugfest that the East is about to start during this last stretch.

Yeah the Yanks have a tough stretch of games. If we get on a roll we could end up with the best record in the AL! That would be Awesome.

If we've already clinched when we get to LA I don't think they'd throw their guys on short rest and risk injury for next season. Maybe they'd just wave the white flag and throw some young guys.

Don't we actually need to make up two games ( one to tie and one to go ahead) on the Tigers to get HFA since they won the season series?

You are right ... tie goes to DET. Will need another game up to break the tie since both teams are on the same number of games played. Would have been nice for TEX to have an extra game ... so they need to win 2 and DET lose 2.
