Did anyone fill out a blank MVP ballot last year?

I don't know. But somebody voted for Torii Hunter in 2013.

Did Jeff Kent ever lead his league in any stat other than sac flies?

Biggio led the National League in games, plate appearances, runs, doubles, stolen bases and hit by pitch. All of em multiple times aside from steals.

games, plate appearances and hit by pitches? Seriously? Come on bro. Runs are a product of the lineup. Again Kent has better career stats in just about everything. You say Kent is just a power guy when he has a better average than biggio

Ha, I think we've established some would take Kent over Biggio, but he couldn't hold Robbie or Ryno's jock. Oh.....and he's a Dick

Kents OBP is lower, which matters more than BA, IMO. Like UK pointed out, what did Kent do without Bonds?(His pre-Giants numbers are not even close to his career averages.)

Number 3

I think that the pitching staffs are comparable, maybe a slight edge to #4, but number three has the edge on the line up. Though I would normally go with the better staff, I just don't think that there is that big a difference in the pitchers, so I went with the team that I felt had the better line up.

True. And 21st in hits, 5th in doubles, and 15 th in runs.

Slap hitters who play 20 years are bound to put up some numbers. Oh, he got to play with Bagwell for most of his career too.

Funny thing is I like Biggio, always have I just believe he doesn't belong in the conversation with some of the other greats we have talked about.

Slap hitter!?!

This is where I don't understand you guys. He's a leadoff hitter. (That has more leadoff homers than anyone in national League history...) That hit over 20 homers EIGHT times. Had back to back seasons of 50 doubles. FIFTY! That's not what slap hitters do.

I think Sandberg and Alomar are above him in this Mock. But no other 2nd baseman.

There aren't many middle infielders who have stolen 50 bags and hit 50 doubles and smacked 20 homers in any given season, never mind the same season. (Larkin never even hit 40 Doubles, Alomar never hit 50 and combined they hit over 20 homers in five seasons.)

:pound: Just playin' man... I like Biggio I just never seen him as a great player, he was a real good player who was easy to root for.
