Wow. Looks like we are going to have to put you in the "Doug Timeout" corner for a little while. Making up stats!!!

No heart from Jeff Kent though. None I tells ya.

Him and his prawn stache wouldn't be Top Five at his position if he were eligible.

(I was wrong. Dougie still hasn't been yet, just ask 'im.)

I wouldn't take Kent on an all time team. Additionally by subtraction

He simply won't talk about it... Even if you call him out he just moves on to his next embarrassing failure...

? Jeff Kent can play on my team any day. I'd take him over Biggio for the HOF. Who do you think pitchers fear more Kent or Biggio? Not even close

Just my opinion, but if you took one team with no 2nd baseman, gave them Jeff Kent for a year or Craig Biggio for a year, the Biggio team wins every time. Biggio had the same "it" that Jeter and Puckett had.

I guess when you put teams side by side things look a bit different... Team 3s offense is shazzzaaammm... I like the pitching of team 4 better but again like in like in the 1/2 matchup the hitting for team 3 pulls it out... It feels like a 4-2 series, all tight games but team 3 has just a little more fire power...

Yeah honestly that doesn't really do anything for me. I don't really buy intangibles in baseball much at all. It's not like football or basketball when you need to play as a team. Baseball is much more individualized. The 77 Yankees hated each other more than any team ever and they were awesome. If you want to go intangibles Kent is an unbelievable competitor. But against any pitcher who they would fear more to face; guarantee you it's Kent.

That explains him leading his team to a World Series Championship, oh wait... :noidea:

Biggio was a real good player, not a great player. IMO he does not belong in the same conversation with Puck and Jeter.

Me either. All the other 2nd baseman mentioned were Golden Glove winners and had speed. And, well, weren't Jeff Kent.

Fangraphs has Kent as a plus defender for his career

You're lack of respect for Biggio is baffling. Makes no sense to me. He missed 1st ballot by a C-Hair. There isn't any important thing he didn't do well. Kent hit home runs and played with Barry Bonds.

That's exactly what he does!

I like when he throws a dart and hits his mark, then flaunts it for a week. Hahaha. But he never talks smack about any team I like, so I can imagine my stance would be different if the tables were turned.

Making an argument that the joke of a BBWA is about to vote him in is a really bad one. They suck ass. Kent does everything better than Biggio except steals. He has a higher avg, lot more power, Fangraphs even has Kent rated as a better career defender. Kent won an MVP Biggio has not. Kent has about 60 points higher in career OPS. Kent is better in advanced stats such as wRC+ and wOBA. Biggio is a compiler.

That's what makes him hilarious. He's got self esteem for days. Nothing fazes him, just keeps on spewing bullshit until he is finally right.

1/100 means nothing to him. It's the fact he was right that one time that matters lol.

Couple of things , 1, I would be curious to see what Kent's numbers looked like with/without Bonds in the lineup. As to comparing Biggio to Jeter and Puckett, I didn't say he was better, just that he had the "it" they had.
