It'll be interesting to see how the voters feel... Obviously, my Cy Young 'winners' were not the best selections at the time (if we go by peak)... But since the new way of posting any three stats is being used, I wonder what becomes important...

Anyway... It is fun to have 12 Cy Young awards in my rotation....

UK trades McGee and Alan Trammell to Ritz for Yount and Bo Jackson

A trade that makes NO sense for Ritz. He complained earlier about WLK trading three 9th round picks for Hernandez then trading him for a 12th round pick but he now trades a 1st and 4th round pick for a 5th and 6th round pick... :confused2:

Nothing like helping out a buddy...

In Ritz defense, he did try to take me to the cleaners by offering Kenny Rogers and Pedro Guerrero for Keith Hernandez and Willie McGee first. Neither guy really helped me so we went from there. He got a 6 time All Star in Trammell and a former MVP in McGee. Closer than it seems IMO

Yount is one of my 4-5 favorite players ever, 1st ballot HOF and 2 time MVP. Looking at it from Ritz side though, he gets an awfully good SS coming back in Trammell, and McGee is a huge upgrade over Otis Nixon in CF and as a leadoff hitter

McGee .333 OBP 352 steals
Nixon .343 OBP 620 steals

The fact he trades Bo who he wanted as his 1st round pick until I convinced him he could get him a few rounds later makes this trade lame! Add in trading a SS who everyone would agree is better in Yount makes the trade smell funny to me...

Yes, I do have one other problem. You making trades to help a friend. You are suppose to be one of the two people running and making sure everything is fair and equal. You making trades to help influence the results of the draft chits on what we are trying to do...
