Since we are on a dead period I will say my previous post that didn't get any attention because of the trades.


Today at work was secret Santa and the theme was definite taste. I gave my person sour patch kids. I received chocolate covered bacon and chocolate covered whole red jalapeños. I have never had either before. The bacon was outstanding. I didn't try the jalapenos because the kid I work with had one and was coughing badly and said his mouth was on fire. A teacher tried one and did the same thing so I haven't braved it yet. However that chocolate covered bacon made my heart skip a beat in more then one way.

Thanks! Yeah I was going to do the deal but then looked at my draft spot, evens I have #7 and I felt I couldn't wait that long for Butler... Apparently I was right, so I knew I couldn't wait for Gibson... Was hoping to get a great lead off but I get an MVP clutch hitter instead...

I was really glad he was still there, I had to trade Tudor to pick up Willie McGee to hit leadoff. About as good a lefty as Tudor IMO, both were really good. 22 years and a career ERA in the 3's is pretty impressive

Speaking of the 87 World Series I can't phucking believe that's been more than 27 years! I went to the dome after they beat the Tigers in the ALCS, there was more than 50,000 people in the dome waiting for them, it was a freakin' blast from what I can remember of it...
