Just like the Wlk trade I will say I am not a fan of the trade that just happened but both parties agreed to it so it's approved. I think Stoke got the better of this deal. However both guys are happy with the trade so that's all that matters.

I think it improves both teams. As to trades, if we say beforehand that there are no trades, I'm good with that. But if they are allowed, I'm dealing. Its fun

Exactly. The whole reason I took Juan Gonzalez early when I already had Gwynn was to deal one for an ace later. If there are no trades, you have to fill positions first. If there are trades allowed, you should just stockpile talent IMO

Took Bill Swift. Not many 20 game winners' best season was as a reliever, especially when he didn't even get 20 saves that relief year.

I like his 91 season with 71 games and only 30 games finished. It is smart having your best relief pitcher pitching middle innings...

That'so the year I was talking about. 1.99 Era, 1.107 WHIP and 3.7 WAR. Solid numbers for a non closing reliever, though he did have 17 saves in a closer by committee bullpen.
