You motherfuckers play remarkably well in Columbus. Since 2000, we're 4-2 vs Sparty at home but the biggest win is 14 points. I look for this year's game to be nothing less than another fun installment. Thankfully we never faced you in Columbus at any time before the year 2000. Ever.

Playing at night in Happy Valley will be the biggest hurdle for UM. Other than Barkley not all that concerned with PSU. Haven't been all that impressed with the #2 team.

I disagree with this logic. MJ played both offense and defense and one player has a much bigger impact on an outcome of a team's success.

It is more comparable to saying other than the goalie, this hockey team is not that big of a concern or other than this pitcher, that baseball team is not that big of concern.

I'm not, he's the heisman winner. Just think UM defense will hold their own against him. The crowd on the other hand will make O'Korn piss himself.

Michigan held Barkley to 3.9 YPC in 2016 (59 yards on 15 carries) and 4.5 (68 on 15 carries) in 2015, though he did have 77 receiving yards last year. He already has 395 receiving yards in 2017, so there's that.

I think Michigan's defense holds their own, but I don't see Michigan doing anything on offense. That PSU defensive line and secondary is pretty nasty. I think it'll be something like 24-13 PSU.

All slew of random fans coming up to tell me just how much Penn State sucks. I even had an OSU fan come up and say he’s rooting for us because he can’t stand them now. It’s been odd

The challenge will be if the defense can keep it up if Michigan's offense can't move the ball.

Michigan's offense is anemic. It required over 200 yards last week from a mediocre RB to get Michigan a win vs. Indiana.

Penn St is playing well, they are at home. Michigan has no identify offensively, and Higdon is not piling up 200 yards in this one. It feels like anything Michigan accomplishes offensively is in spite of O'Korn.

The challenge will be if the defense can keep it up if Michigan's offense can't move the ball.

I think it will be an interesting game. From the sounds of it — PSU’s strength on defense is stopping the pass. UM can’t pass anyways, so it doesn’t matter. UM’s strength on defense is the DL, PSU’s weakness is the OL. So UM should be able to make life difficult on PSU’s offense.

I have a feeling we will see UM run, run and run some more. When they pass, I think it will be quick hitters to the TE’s with the occasional overthrow or underthrow by O’Korn on a deep ball (lord knows he isn’t completing one of them).

I was dreading this game until I read up on PSU’s OL issues. If UM can do what they’ve done to Barkley the last two years and limit his yards. I think it will be a good game. If he is able to break a few plays, it could get ugly though.

Seriously? You apparently are also discounting little to nothing of a running game, a backup QB who has not played well at all, no down field threats to stretch the defense? I would love to see Michigan upset Penn St but am not counting on it

Why do you think Higdon is a mediocre RB? He has averaged almost 6 ypc over the last two seasons on almost 150 carries.

I think he is the toughest RB on the team and runs the hardest.
