Someone's jealous as hell their team with no offense and same record is ranked so much lower now aren't they?

Your sad attempts at deflecting just aren't going to work. The wing helmets are about to show just how much farther down they belong. Like out of the rankings at all.

And you know it.

What is there to deflect? I literally said if I had to pick a winner I’d go with Penn State. I just stated that after looking at the strength and weaknesses of each, it could be much closer than I expected it to be.

Let’s be honest with each other. Even the most diehard Huskies fans can’t pissibly think they are the real deal after the ASU game? THAT was embarrassing.

Michigan/Harbaugh most definitely helped and tweaked him into an NFL player but I wouldn't say they developed him. It's like a baseball team trading for a guy, who's been in the minor leagues for three years, in December and bringing him up to the Majors in September and saying they developed him.
Absolutely agree.

Only AG has ever claimed they are so again barking up the wrong tree.

Good teams lose games in college football. It is the rule, not the exception. Hell, even most elite teams still drop one here or there. And while it would be nice if it was only a loss to a top tier team, that too isn't the rule. And you either already know that or you are the idiot you project yourself to be up here. We will see how well UW bounces back after their bye. No one will know what that loss was until we see what that bounce looks like.

So let's be honest with each other here. Michigan is once again not living up to their hype and do not look at all like the team they should with all of those high value recruits they get. They won't just lose one game this year and aren't likely to get to double digit wins. No amount of attempting to change the subject is going change any of that.

The hype? We had 17 new starters this year. There was no hype. Most projected UM to finish with 3 or 4 losses. In reality, the exact opposite has happened from what everyone thought. The offense was supposed to carry a defense with 10 new starters. Instead, it has been the defense carrying the offense. The special teams were supposed to be a huge question mark and the best player on the team has been Quinn Nordin.

Anyways, I just responded in kind to your remark. Figure it was fitting after the UW hype train hit a bump against a horrendous defense that owned the Huskies. Or maybe ASU just finished what Rutgers and Oregon State started. :suds:

Michigan started the season in the top 10 so, yeah, they were over hyped.

Give Washington a break. ASU was the best defense they've faced this year, so they were shocked when they were actually tackled. That’s what happens when you play a scheduled sponsored by Sprinkles Cupcakes.

Actual fans weren’t hyping up UM. We can’t control what the press does. Also, I’ve said many times over, preseason rankings are pointless.

Absolutely and Michigan State was underrated. I would not be overly sad if Michigan ended up 8-4 (with the exception of a 2 week mourning period I allow myself after a loss to ohio state ). We have a very young team and the B1G is very good. Everyone thought that MSU would have another bad year after a 3-9 season ... D'antonio is too good of a coach and last season was an anomaly.

Many Michigan fans were arguing they would just reload because they rotate players.

Ok, but what if he also comes from the OD school of thought (or lack thereof) and blames USC?

Before the season I thought UM was a 9-3 team and MSU was a 7-5 or 8-4 at best.

I never said they weren't living up to your fans hype. I said they again were not living up to 'the' hype. And they aren't.

How many high level recruiting classes does it take to find a reasonable offense when your HC is supposed to be a QB and offensive guru?

pssst rhetorical question.

Did I say that ... I probably would have said Michigan would go 12-0 ... 15-0 after the B1G Championship and College Football Playoffs ... I am a shameless homer, but I try not to be too arrogant or unreasonable ... there are some Michigan fans that embarrass me.
