Honestly I think Walter is underrated by a lot of people, they just don't realize how good he really was. I feel the same way about a bunch of players, Tris Speaker, Jimmie Foxx, Mel Ott, Carl Hubbell to name a few...

He has improved a lot.


His first couple games were hard to watch. He played scared.
