It's just been that kind of year. I was so happy with the 7-0 but I knew it was due to our easy schedule. Our Defense is great due to the recruiting by Tommy Dooferville. But our O is massively inconsistent. But with a 3rd string QB you can't be hard on the kid. You have to think with this experience he will only get better and betteri n the coming seasons. But we need to keep up the recruiting. We will never compete with UT and OU really, in National recognition. But Unfortunately OSU has passed us recently we had started to make our way into the 3rd best Big 12 team. Now Even Baylor is on the rise. We need to keep up the recruiting and excitement with our team that comes with the young coach in Kingsbury and the excitement with the other coaches being former players. If we can get some good classes I think we can get ourselves into the 9 year a win regular season categories. But we will never be a powerhouse and that is fine. But I just hate watching us lose games we shouldn't. So far this season that hasn't happened. But the turnovers have killed us, and again that's due to the youth. But the excitement that wasn't there with Dooferville is back. Any publicity is good publicity, so our coach looks like a actor and has a southern drawl and chicks want to bang him? Great, go out and recruit the young kids saying, "Hey you come play ball here and we're going to have fun" He can relate to the kids. But recruiting defense has always been an issue. Dooferville did a good job there. We need to keep that up to keep building.
