12 hours of playoff Hockey

If you are like me by the time the Sharks abd Kings end tonight it will have been 12 hours of playoff hockey.

I wish we could get this once a week in normal games.

On a somewhat related note, my teams have 6 games scheduled over the next 6 days. And then if we get to the finals of the tournament we're in, another one on Sunday for lucky #7. Thursday is my only day without a hockey game and I have to spend the afternoon in a car going to Lake Placid. I might have had some trouble with that kind of schedule 25 years ago when I was still a minor peewee... I don't know how I'm going to do it now. I'm thinking of taking Tuesday's night game off but the tough hockey player part of me keeps saying I shouldn't do that without a "real" reason. And of course in Placid I'm playing with young guys, so I don't even get the break of being in the old man division. The shit I go through for this fucking game I tells ya.

I took my 9 year old to an easter egg hunt at the same area as comic-con yesterday.
So I had to explain why that lady was walking around in only paint. And why that other lady only had on half-underwear (g-string).
so yeah, it was a fun day.

Played 'em all so far. The league games didn't go so great, but we won the Placid tournament and I was "Player of the Game" in the final. And I think my game tonight is going to be postponed so I rest, finally!

I've had three hockey games and an indoor soccer game in the last 3 days. I have another indoor game tomorrow night and then I go on a quick overnight backpacking trip up in desolation on Thursday/Friday.

No rest for the wicked.
