They just beat Fresno St 73 - 21.

They pulled their QB in the 2nd quarter after he ran up 340 yards and 4 TD's in just over 1 quarter of football.

Meanwhile, Ohio St did well in not allowing Hawaii to score, but the offense seemed to struggle based on the box score.

Hard to argue that they look unstoppable right now. I am not sure they have been really tested, but I know the defense is legit and the offense has made a hell of a case also

They played like shit, but I'll take a shutout all day everyday. They looked like they were asleep on the field: penalties, bad snaps, dropped passes. Bad

I just put more weight into how people look so far in mine. Not to the point of ignoring everything like rmillia guy did, but more weight into that then how I think they might do.

Based on what I've seen today:

Arkansas will be dropping.
Auburn will be dropping.
Tennessee will get ranked.
Ole Miss as I mentioned gets a big bump.
Alabama I'm dropping some.
TCU I'm bringing up a few spots(I had them 17)
Ohio St probably to #2
Oklahoma I had top10, obviously dropping them a ton if they don't turn it around.
Clemson and GT are good candidates for moving up.

A lot of top teams played like shit. TCU and Ole Miss played the best. But at the top you can only move teams so far up or down. TCU gets a bump but still not above Bama and Ohio St even with the bad performances

Folks, football is about teams, not conferences. First, it's obvious that the poll voters give prejudice to SEC and other "name" teams, voting them into the top ten, based on reputation not actual games. I can't stand all of these glorified scrimmages. How can anyone judge when a lot of teams cook the books by doing all these bad Ooc games? Props to Toledo, Jacksonville State, and the other little guys who proved that the SEC is human.

True. I'm just looking down the road to the third Saturday in October. I like when teams that play Bama have some quit in them.

Over the past year, much of my loathing for Tennessee has shifted instead to Ole Miss, after their athletic department towed my motorcycle from a non-marked alumni-only parking zone.

So instead of wanting to see Tennessee lose every game by a hundred, I'm fine if they lose them all by just a few. Do want to see Ole Miss lose every game by a hundred though.

Did GA look good? Seemed like they let a subpar Vandy team hang around and their offense stalled

Because they are a damn good football team and the only reason they had a hard time last year is because they played in the SEC West.

They looked ever better offensively this past weekend, even though it was a cupcake.

Unlike Tennessee that got hyped up beating teams like Vandy and Kentucky, Arkansas was playing tough teams and doing well.
