I'll give Kelly a pass on the QB situation. He promised them both would play and both did. He figured it out eventually. The problem is we have no defense. We scored 45 points and still lost

100% this. The offense wasn't the problem. We scored 5 touchdowns in regulation and had an easy FG blocked, it should have never gone to overtime. The defense is atrocious and has been since BVG was hired.

But anyway, great game played by Texas, ND made them earn the W and they did.

Back briefly.....looking at the schedules, ND easily could go 6-6 and Texas? I think they win 8 games, maybe 9. They're a year awayb from being serious contenders.

Texas isn't making the playoffs.

Hell we likely aren't winning the conference. But we WILL win 8+ games IMO. NEXT YEAR we'll be a beast tho.

We had four 5 star recruits at this game......I think we're going to get a LOT of them in this class. I think Texas locks down a top 5 class and we're baaaaaaaaack

They have some talent just a poor scheme and shitty DC.

ND has a very good OL. That secondary is a question. They are not deep though. 1 on of the most talented starting DLs in the country. They need to find some depth.

I was thinking Matt Barkley at USC was the 1st true freshman QB to start a game and win, I could be wrong. I'm guessing Colt holds the TD pass record for the Longhorns.

I do think this is a terrible offense for him. He struggled vs UNC also. Hard to be complicated vs the hurry up offense. You just have to let kids play

Not as much as you'd think. Texas didn't run their speed back, or pass to a RB out of the backfield, nor did they use their slot WRs or intermediate passing game.

For all the plays they ran, they didn't show a whole lot of diversity.

Your rusty cows will have something to say about who wins the conference....but they may win it themselves. They may stump their toe somewhere but still ruin someone else's season.

I've always wondered what would happen when one of the blue bloods with talent decided to adopt the Leach or Briles system. It has always been run by the 2nd tier teams in conferences...and they didn't have the talent on the defensive side to add to it.
