Texas out coached and out played them, I have to feel that Kelly pulling Kizer for Zaire cost them a win and he should take the blame for that. I've said for two years the DC Van Gorder needs to go and he still does will be an interesting year. Over all a great game to watch congrats to Texas I hope they win the Big 12 so this loss doesn't hurt Notre Dame as much.

The defense is going to give us fits as expected all year

At times it will make huge plays...and at times it will be horribly inept

This wont be the last shootout Texas gets into. They will likely lose a 52-35 game somewhere

But, it seems like we have an offense that will be good for a few years with all these freshmen and sophmores everywhere

Good thing for Notre Dame is the schedule is pretty soft for Notre Dame standards. Only 3 true road games. No reason why they should not be 10-1 heading into a tough game vs USC to end the season

Notre Dame almost would have been better off not blocking the PAT and running it back.

If they had been trailing, Brian Kelly would not have suddenly went into stall-ball mode and coached scared. He would have had to open up the offense in that last possession in regulation.

I knew ND would score that is the best OL that Texas will see this year. The rotation will get deeper as freshmen grow up. Given the pace of the offense, the defense is going to give up points
