Notre Dame almost would have been better off not blocking the PAT and running it back.

If they had been trailing, Brian Kelly would not have suddenly went into stall-ball mode and coached scared. He would have had to open up the offense in that last possession in regulation.

Charlie Strong by far outcoached Kelly!

He sure did the play calling after the blocked PAT return was pathetic by Kelly.

I wouldn't go that far. Schedule is pretty favorable. Almost all the remaining tough games excluding USC is played in our home. IMO this is a 10-2 or 11-1 season. Would be a damn shame if we lose at home, on the road to NC State, or one of our neutral field games

Texas out coached and out played them, I have to feel that Kelly pulling Kizer for Zaire cost them a win and he should take the blame for that. I've said for two years the DC Van Gorder needs to go and he still does will be an interesting year. Over all a great game to watch congrats to Texas I hope they win the Big 12 so this loss doesn't hurt Notre Dame as much.

I'll give Kelly a pass on the QB situation. He promised them both would play and both did. He figured it out eventually. The problem is we have no defense. We scored 45 points and still lost

7 wins with that schedule and Strong should be fired. Even 8 is borderline unacceptable but he can pass with that but at minimum they should reach 8 wins. I think they go 9-3
