I think he made way more as a sanitation engineer than he did as an adjunct. I was an adjunct at Azusa Pacific for 18 years when we lived in SoCal, and adjuncts don't make much.

I know, I was being facetious. I think we've talked about it before. Adjuncts make next to nothing. Its a big gap between full time faculty and adjuncts.
