Something will have to give in this series. HFA has won 23 of 25 AND the winner of Game 1 has won 4 straight, 10 of 11 and 14 of 16.

We are 2 of the 23, 4, 10 and 14.

Who here knew that Ted Williams had Mexican ancestry? Seems off topic, I know, but I only found out about this fact today when I was reading an article about a reporter asking Sergio Romo what country he was from (USA, of course, but I guess the reporter didn't know that).

I usually follow on game day, so for those who watch the Gs regularly, how often does Bum roll out the 67mph curve balls as he did tonight?

Our ace is better than their ace.

Now we need to see something from Peavy and Hudson.

Shields has had a problem the entire post season .... in 4 starts his ERA is above 7 ....
Vargas and Ventura have been their strength ... get 6 from them and we'll see a rather nasty pen after that.

I wonder if the guy with the visor on sideways and the Marlins jersey will be back behind home plate tonite.

OMG!!

I couldn't take my eyes off of him. What a goof.

Of course, he was sitting right next to a couple of scary looking gangsters...

An article I read this morning said he had thrown that pitch 19 times all season. But he's been working on it the last few months, and is throwing it more in the playoffs.

Isn't Kershaw's curveball about the same speed? With a 30 mph difference between a fastball and a curve, that ought to be illegal.
