What is the major contributor to getting runs yourself? The other team’s pitching staff.

I know you're all in on the Brewers but I don't think their staff matches ours in 2010, and our lineup was somewhat better. But yes it's better to be lopsided to pitching.

As msg said, we have 3 shots ourself to get to the NLDS as well as one shot we are not involved in. We would need to match our season long losing streak AND have the dogs complete a sweep to not get into the REAL PLAYOFFS.

Most important thing for me today is seeing the old Gausman back. Anything else is just gravy.

Not sure I understand this .... I only see 2 shots that we control. Todays game as well as a game 163. The one shot we are not involved in is today's Mil and LA game ... which I don't see much help with. I also don't see the longest losing streak in play. We won on Friday. We are only on a one game losing streak.

Then again ... I'm emotionally a little messed up at the moment. Really never wanted game 162 to be a deciding factor for us. Also can't comprehend why the Pads seems to get swept by everyone but us. We just always seem to struggle with them. I except today to be nail boting as well.

Ok ... forgot the WC option.... we go into the NLDS no matter what happens. Juat having a game 163 means that ....

The 163 game option is really interesting ..... the doggies HAVE to win today no matter what else happens to even get a game 163 (we'd have to lose) .... they will either have a game 163 ... or they'll have to be ready on the 6th for the WC game.
If there is a game 163 ... both the doggies and us will at least have to be thinking about the WC game and who the hell pitches it.

I'm not even sure who we would have in game 163 as our starter. I'm guessing Webb today ... but again not sure what they are all thinking.

He was starting to elevate his pitches...a sure sign of fatigue. It was IMO correct to pull him. It was IMO the WORST PHUKING DECISION IN THE WORLD to put in Shittell.

But hey, Shittell happens.
