I'm not watching the game, but checking on updates. Did we have a goal by JVR disallowed? Should it be 3-1 Flyers?

OMG dude....
Elliott was going after a puck and the net came off the moorings, they called him for delay of game.
The JVR goal.....They said Voracek was off sides and that was like almost a minute before the goal was scored.

These refs have on blue and white stripes on tonight.

Yea, I'm gonna have to say.....

If you get on @lasgop8 about JVR he might fire back as good ole JVR made two huge turnovers in OT....
I'm still trying to figure out WTF the goof was doing.....fugly ugly turnovers.

I actually thought JVR had one of his better game's his nongoal was money and he was hitting. Sanheim was phenomenonal too. They really have had shit luck when playing the teams they are chasing you have to win those...

It doesn't help when you have to play the opponents and the refs.....

JVR had a great goal, but the shitty officiating took that away. I've never seen such inconsistent officiating as you see in the NHL. Not sure if it's just being a Flyer fan, but it seems more times than not, the Flyers are usually the ones getting the screw job.

We def got screwed on that BS call on Elliott. 99 times out of 100 that is never ever a penalty. Sometimes I understand an iffy call, but I can never understand weak ones like that!

Reading some articles and stuff talking about how active this summer could be.

Notable RFA's
Point (TB)
Erne (TB)
Paquette (TB)
Laine (WIN)
Conner (WIN)
Trouba (WIN)
Kapanen (TOR)
Johnsson (TOR)
Marner (TOR)
Rantanen (COL)
Tkachuk (CAL)
Meier (SJ)
Boeser (VAN)
Werenski (CBJ)
Provorov (PHI)
McAvoy (BOS)
Aho (CAR)

Notable UFA's
Myers (WIN)
Gardiner (TOR)
Panarin (CBJ)
Bobrovsky (CBJ)
Duchene (CBJ)
Pavelski (SJ)
Karlsson (SJ)
Nyquist (SJ)
Zuccarello (DAL)
Ferland (CAR)
Simmonds (NSH)
Skinner (BUF)

When you look at that list, you see lots of decisions to be made in TB (73M spent on 16 guys for 2019-20 already) , WIN (55.6 spent on just 11 guys), TOR (72.6 on 15), and SJ (57.5 on 15). They're not going to be able to afford everyone. Add in teams like Dallas, where the owner has already called out Benn and Seguin this season and could be considering blowing it up. Plus Anaheim, Chicago, LA, maybe St Louis, looking to start over again, there's going to be a lot of opportunities to make moves in June/July.

I would love to land Seguin or Benn, do you really think the Blues will blow it up? They've been pretty hot the second half,

I would love Seguin or Benn too. I'm rooting for them to flame out and miss the playoffs in hopes the Stars blow it up.

Tough to say on the Blues. Even like 2 months ago, I would've said absolutely. They really have been on a tear though.

Q is would they be better to go for a winger or center? I'm still hoping that Laughton fills the 3rd line roll but 4th line he's money. They do have some young guys coming up too...

Frost fills that 3rd center next year. Go winger in FA

If Frost is better than Laughton and he can move to 4th line center the team would be better...especially if they add another solid winger. Who do you like at wing? Lots of good UFA's I'm sure that they could find one....

Nice win yesterday.

Gotta keep rooting for all these teams ahead of us to stop getting into OT games.

I would actually be looking for a 2C. Couturier, UFA, Patrick, Laughton down the middle. Depending on who the UFA is, that's real strength down the middle, plus you have G at wing full time. It gives you the flexibility to have Frost start in the AHL or on the wing. Based on scouting reports, pacing is his biggest concern. If that's the case, he might need some AHL or at least time on the wing to get used to playing hockey at a professional pace.
