Im still hoping we could steal Tolvanen from Nash. maybe Simmonds and Vorobyev gets it done or is that too much.
We may see some type of package deal if we trade with Nashville involving Simmer, picks, prospect for Tolvanen.

I hope this happens. It would be nice to have a 19 year old who should've went top 10 in the 2017 draft maybe even higher.

Simmer not at practice today for obvious reasons. Me thinks he's going to the Preds for the reasons I stayed prior. I don't think they want to ship out the boatload for Stone. Just my gut here!

FWIW. Morin has been brought up. Could Ghost be on the way out?

I think the B's may have a line on him to, asking price seems to be a first and a prospect. If we could get Tolvanen I would like to see that move instead but I think we'll hear soon.

The interesting thing about making a trade with the Press is that they need a guy like Simmer on their PP. Also, we both have pieces to make a deal work well for both parties. I'm hearing Ghost may be dealt possibly? I love Tolvanen and it's possible we ship out a dman, Simmer and get a couple of 1st rounders and Tolvanen? @awaz is the numbers guy, curious on his thoughts.

I'd really like Ghost to stay and see if he develops into a great player. Maybe give him another year?

Looks like its going down to the wire. Are we too focused on the Simmer trade and not concentrating on shipping out Raffl, Elliot, Ghost and whomever else has been talked about.

Preds have plenty of space to add, especially a good contract like Simmonds. They have enough to take on Ghost/Gudas as well if they want to, but they're pretty deep on defense. I could maybe see adding Gudas as a shut-down 3rd pair guy.

Tolvanen is definitely my target, but I think the Preds are after Stone. I kind of think a Simmonds deal happens after the Stone decision is made. If Stone goes somewhere other than Nashville, we can start licking our chops.

I'm with SF here. Trading Ghost right now is selling low. He's got much more value as a 4.5M through 2023 contract with the potential of being a 1st pair guy, than anything they could bring in for him. Maybe he doesn't get back to the 1st pair level he was at last year, but even as a 1PP/top 4 guy, he's a steal at 4.5M. I give him a chance to rebound next year.

Especially at the deadline. That's more of a summer move, where all teams are doing some roster re-construction and more NHL ready players might be available. The deadline is much more of a buyer/seller type market and the return for Ghost likely would not include guys that are ready to make an NHL impact.

Columbus got Mcquaid for 2 more draft picks. Do they have any picks left in the next four seasons?

We may have to change our banner after the deadline. Simmer gone unless we get Smith Pelly off waivers..Kidding fellas. Love Simmer and wished he resigned with us earlier this season.

Can't believe the Flyers haven't done anything yet. I thought for sure two of Simmonds/Raffl/Gudas would be moved today. Still time, but getting down to the wire.

Nashville gets Granlund from Minnestoa for Fiala.

Tampa says they may just stand pat.

Rumors that Simmonds veto'd a trade to Calgary. (nothing from the Canadian guys, but read that it was on NHL Network)

He might not get moved...

Stone to Vegas.

Should clear things up, if teams want a forward now it's Simmonds.. got 15 minutes.
