Not sure how I feel about this......
I mean it's funny as hell them talking about the coaches that way. And if the coaches are mad, must be some truth to it.
And I understand the Uber (you forgot the G) driver having a camera to protect himself, but to give that video of those guys up to YouTube or the press.....that's a bitch thing to do.
So what if they suck, that's on the coach. Build on the positive thing.....they stuck together as a team.

But it's still funny as hell!!!!

I can't comment on the last few games as I haven't seen them yet, but yes, the Metro division is there for the taking. Carolina and NJ both lost again last night. Shitsburgh had a good record, but have now lost four straight. Everyone else is right there with us.

The Islanders find themselves leading the division and I believe they gave up the most goals in the Nhl last season (with Tavares).

Check out the pace of their top goal scorers:

Nelson: On pace for 41 goals (career high 26)
Cizikas: 31 (career high 9)
Filppula: 29 (career high 25, 7 seasons ago)
Lee: 29 (very capable)
Eberle: 23 (very capable)
Martin and Ladd: 22 each (Ladd is capable, but Martin has a career high of 10)

How many of those are going to hold true!?

I'm assuming JvR will be back in action here shortly. It's been just about 5 weeks since he got injured and the timetable was 5-6 weeks. As of a week ago, he had resumed skating, so he should be very close by now.

Lots of home games coming up. Maybe we see him Saturday afternoon against the Quenneville-less Hawks.

I agree 100% that the driver is a huge dick to sell that recording to the press. I just thought it was funny how they were all making fun of the coach and saying he doesn't change anything. I was thinking what our players could be saying.

Quenneville would be a great coaching option for us, but unless he takes some significant time off, he's going to be long gone before we have a vacancy. The Panthers would probably fire Boughner on the spot and hire him today if he somehow wanted to jump right back into it...Lol

We are 14th in the league with 3.13 GPG so we need more offense
We are tied for 2nd in giving up the most goals at 3.73 GPG so we need better defense

What do we need to do to be in the top 10 in both categories by seasons end?

Some funny shit, he'll I think we even got named in the back of that car.
And the coaching staff needs to pull their heads out of their asses.....that is a team.
They suck, they own it, and tell you how coaching is failing them. Ownership should be looking into the coaches, and throwing these guys a party and letting us watch.

Hakstol now the 4th longest tenured head coach in the league. Cooper of the Cup contending Lightning, Laviolette of the Cup contending Predators, and Maurice of the Cup contending Jets the only 3 ahead of him.

If there was ever a time to go in a different direction with a coach it's now.
Its early enough in the season where it wouldn't hurt us.
Queeneville is a proven commodity.
Our young players are young enough to develop under him.
We all know Haks gets fired at some point if Qeeneville is gone who replaces him?
