Okay, that's an opinion. I would say the team that wins almost every time they play a good team is better than the team that wins most of their home games in conference.

You could say that about most of the B1G teams. Homecourt is huge when you play competition up to your level every game.

Home court advantage is huge for everyone. Gonzaga has had several chances to lose at teams similar or better than Penn State and it never happened. Gonzaga had two chances to win on the road against quality teams and they did (st. Mary's and ok. State). Ohio State has had 4 chances (MSU, UM, Duke, and Wiscy) and they didn't win

It'd be the big12 actually. And I agree the beat up on eachother thing is silly in both sports. However, in football rankings matter, in basketball they don't.

And fwiw, only two B1G teams have a better bpi than ok state and one of them lost to Penn State

I mean playing 3 crap teams then having to play St Marys is a hard task and then they have to play 3 good non-conf games and sos is still low.
