Caps Keys for tomorrows game:
-Stay out of the box. Yeah officiating was questionable, but don't need to start taking real penalties.
-Take shots then crash the net for Rolies rebounds. Rolie was good, but he wasn't god-like either like some "experts" have said. He had quite a number of rebounds in the first 2 periods and in the 3rd I'd be hard pressed to find a save that was anything other than routine
-Take a lead into the 3rd. You can't play from behind vs the Bolts. When you have to press and can't be patient, you're playing into the hand of the 1-3-1. And if we do fall behind, pleese don't try to get into the zone by going lateral.

Looks like Carlson should play tomorrow after not playing for all but for 1 shift in the last 25 minutes of game 1. Feel confident about tomorrow but I'm also approaching it cautiously.

Good keys. You absolutely can NOT fall behind on this team, and you absolutely can NOT give them lots of PP opportunities. Doesn't matter how good you are, they have major firepower out on that first unit, and eventually you'll get burnt. And on the Rolie thing...I think crashing is the best way to do it, but your snipers need to wake up, because he's beatable (as the Semin goal showed, and the Talbot goal in game 4 from far out), but you have to pepper him and get in his head. He doesn't like to be TOUCHED, so you need a bastard like Malone there just to piss him off.

Rolie is over emotional too sometimes when he plays which is a good thing but the caps can take advantage of it

He's easy to piss off. Which is why I wish Cooke had been in this series (at least for the end)...he'd get his nose dirty in the crease just to tick off Rolie, but not many Pens did that on a consistent basis. Heck, Kunitz was Mr. Disappero in the playoffs.

I would also like to see us crash the net a little bit more and get in Rolies grill and head some. We are big, very big as a team. Let's make him uncomfortable.

I also want to see us finish our checks more and lean on these guys. They played in a longer, more physical first series. Let's finish the work bat Pittsburgh started and bit these guys and make them tired. As I said earlier, we are the biggest team t on the league and the more we use it, the more it will be in our favor as the game progresses.

Tyler hit the other points very well.

We are the better team. Let's win this game by stepping on the ice. Swagger, intimidate, and deliver

I was just referring to style of play. They're up there, but not first in hits, blocked shots, etc.
